Summary Willow, Adam and many people talked about funeral. Willow wanted her funeral to be in nature. Mia’s mom had elaborate fantasies about her funeral when growing up. When she became an adult , she dreamed that she and Mia’s dad would die maybe on a safari in Africa because they came down with some exotic sickness and went to sleep one night and then never woke up. Back in the ICU, She hasn’t been back in her bed fifteen minutes when Willow shows up. Willow marches through the double table and goes to speak to the one nurse behind the desk and her tone is polite, soft-spoken but leaving no room for questions.
A few minutes later, she is in charge and then makes the grumpy nurse resign finally who looks pissed off at first. She brings Mia’s gran and gramps with her five minutes later. They come to her bedside and talk to her. Her gran tells her about mundane news and her gramps tells her that everyone wants her to stay, but if she want to leave, it’s okay. After Mia’s mom announced she was pregnant with Teddy , her dad had much changes. He went and got himself a learner’s permit, wardrobe change and etc. After months later , Mia’s dad announced he was leaving the band. One of his bandmates , Henry, devastated. He tried to talk him out of it but Mia’s dad refused to reconsider and they had huge blowout. He made a decision to be a grad school teacher. Mia’s gramps thought he’ll make a good teacher but he missed the music especially for the words.
